The HIKVISION DS-7204HUHI-K1 TURBO HD DVR is capable of recording surveillance videos provided in HD-TV, AHD, CVBS, and IP Standards. The maximum recording resolution is 5 MP @ 12 fps. The DVR can also record videos with a 3 MP image resolution at 18 fps.

This device can record one or two video streams from each channel. The video can be compressed with the use of the H.265 method. When you compare the H.265 method with the H.264 predecessor, the H.265 can reduce half the data stream, which translates into proportional savings of the disk space or extended data retention time.

You can record videos in various different modes such as continuous, motion detection, alarm, or continuous recording with special perimeters.

The enhanced IP mode allows you to increase the number of supported IP channels. It disables the smart vents in analog channels and limits the HDMI-VGA output resolution to 1080p.
