Description

TP-Link TL-WN722N 150Mbps High Gain Wireless USB Adapter

1. Overview

The TP-Link TL-WN722N 150Mbps High Gain Wireless USB Adapter is built for one job: pulling in a stronger Wi-Fi signal where ordinary adapters give up. Its external 4 dBi detachable antenna reaches routers that are farther away or behind walls, making it the go-to choice for rooms with weak signals, upper floors, warehouses and outdoor-adjacent workspaces in Pakistan. With wireless N speeds of up to 150 Mbps, it handles browsing, email, video calls and streaming reliably, even at the edge of your network’s range. If your PC sits far from the router and the connection keeps dropping, the WN722N is the affordable fix.

The detachable antenna is a practical advantage: you can swap it for a higher-gain antenna or connect an extension cable to position it for the best signal. Setup is simple with the included utility and WPS support. Pair it with a strong TP-Link router such as the Archer C6 AC1200 Router or the TL-WR840N 300Mbps Router for a complete setup, and explore more adapters at NexGenShop.

• Reliable TP-Link quality at a budget-friendly price.

3. Detailed Features of the TP-Link TL-WN722N

The WN722N combines a proven wireless N chipset with a 4 dBi omnidirectional antenna that significantly improves reception compared with tiny internal-antenna adapters. It delivers up to 150 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and maintains stable connections in locations where weaker adapters drop out. Security is covered with WPA/WPA2 encryption and one-touch WPS setup, so connecting to a protected network takes seconds.

The detachable RP-SMA antenna connector is a standout feature: users can attach a higher-gain antenna or a short extension cable to place the antenna in the best reception spot — on top of a desk, near a window or away from interference. The adapter supports soft AP mode, turning a wired PC into a Wi-Fi hotspot for other devices. It works with Windows, Linux and Mac systems, and the included utility makes managing networks straightforward.
